T25 Ribbon Microphone Transformer

The Shinhom T25 is a 1:36 ratio output transformer designed for the classic passive ribbon microphone.The T25 has been used in old classic ribbon mics, budget ribbon mics and DIY mic projects.  The T25 represents great value for money with excellent sonic properties at a very reasonable price.

 

Our 2.5 micron aluminium foil for ribbon microphones is made in Japan using a vapor deposition method to achieve exacting tolerances. Size of sheet – 100 mm x 50 mm (4″ x 2″) 99% pure Aluminium.

Our 4 micron aluminium foil is used in ribbon microphones where a more robust ribbon element is needed. Made in Japan using a vapor deposition method to achieve exacting tolerances. 99% pure Aluminium. Size of sheet – 100 mm x 60 mm (3.94″ x 2.36″)

The SH42 Shock Mount is designed for microphones ranging in diameter from 42mm to 50mm or 1.65″ – 1.97″ The SH42 has a Standard 5/8″-27 thread with a 3/8″-5/8″ thread adapter. Fits on standard microphone stands.

The RC 48T Ribbon Corrugator creates approximately 12 corrugations per inch or 5 corrugations per cm.  The RC 48T can be screwed to a base(as pictured) or a work table. Made in the EU. The wooden base is not included. Size of RC 48T Corrugator – 67 mm x 40 mm  x 35mm (2.64″ x  1.58″ x 1.38")

The SH27 Shock Mount is designed for small diaphragm(pencil shape) microphones ranging in diameter from 20mm to 27mm or o.78″ – 1.06″ The SH27 has a 3/8″-16 thread adapter for attachment to microphone stands. The SH27 Shock Mount comes with an extra set of 4 elastic bands.
